Russia and China Strengthen Cooperation in Intellectual Property

On June 11, 2025, Russia and China strengthened their cooperation in intellectual property during a video conference. The 16th session of the Russian-Chinese Working Group on Cooperation in Protecting Intellectual Property Rights was co-chaired by V. Mamontov and Li Min. Representatives from both countries shared information about recent developments in protecting intellectual property rights, discussed issues related to criminal protection of intellectual rights, and reviewed changes in their respective judicial systems regarding intellectual property. Experts also discussed the protection of data and AI-generated objects, with China sharing information on registering service marks for unspecified products.
