Rospotrebnadzor discussed topical issues of the influence of noise pollution on human health

On February 28, 2025, under the leadership of Anna Popova, a meeting of the Rospotrebnadzor College took place to discuss current issues related to noise pollution assessment in populated areas and associated problems and possible solutions. The meeting involved employees from the central apparatus, territorial organs, and scientific organizations. The discussion focused on the increasing importance of controlling noise as a factor disrupting environmental quality and posing health risks. Key sources of noise pollution were identified, including road, rail, air transport, cultural events, and engineering equipment.
