"On 13 October 2023, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment republished draft Regulations pertaining to Listed Threatened or Protected Terrestrial Species and Freshwater Species for public comment. The draft list of terrestrial species and freshwater species that are threatened or protected, restricted activities that are prohibited, and proposed restricted activities that are exempt was also made available for public input."
