"On 21/05/2025, the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) issued an update regarding '[Report Reference] Expansion of Social Rehabilitation Support to avoid being addicted to drugs'. The KFDA expanded the scope of social rehabilitation support for drug addicts from 'social reintegration' to 'maintenance and protection of normal daily life', and revised the exemptions for checking medication records when prescribing controlled substances, including cases of complex regional pain syndrome and chronic pain patients."
