Reimbursement of improper charges

On March 25, 2024, Procon-SP informed that a court in Belo Horizonte ordered Banco Bradesco Financiamentos and Banco Finasa BMC to reimburse consumers for abusive charges on vehicle financing and loans. The decision, issued in November last year, affects nationwide contracts, requiring the banks to repay values paid with simple interest if charged before March 30, 2021, and double interest thereafter.
