"On April 25, 2025, the Financial Services Agency published a partial amendment to the designation of countries or regions under Articles 17-2 and 17-3 of the Order for Enforcement of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds. The update adds 30 jurisdictions to the scope of travel rule requirements, limiting transfers to foreign VASPs in jurisdictions with equivalent regulations."
