On 16/06/2025, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) issued an update regarding Project Assessment Draft Report extension for the Waddamana to Palmerston Transfer Capability Upgrade project. The AER has agreed to extend the date by which TasNetworks must publish the PADR to 28 February 2026, allowing additional time to properly explore and include options to improve the quality of the released report. This extension will ensure that stakeholders are well placed to provide relevant and considered feedback during the consultation period.
