On 23/04/2025, the National Consumer Protection Agency (Procon) issued an update regarding Procon-SP fines Nestlé for information failure on product packaging. The agency found that Nestlé had placed products in the market with ingredients not listed on the packaging, and their advertising was deemed misleading, leading to consumer error. The fine is approximately R$ 13 million, calculated according to the article 56 of the Consumer Protection Code.
