On Saturday, March 22nd, a joint operation between federal and military police in Foz do Iguaçu, PR, led to the seizure of over 600 kilograms of marijuana found on the banks of the Paraná River. The police identified an inflatable boat making its way from Paraguay into Brazil, leaving several individuals on the shore while returning with packages inside. As the boat approached a clandestine port, law enforcement arrived and the suspects fled, abandoning the large quantity of drugs.
