보도시점2025.2.5.(수) 14:00 배포2025. 2.5.(수) 08:30 특허청, KOTRA와 손잡고 지재권 기반 수출 확대 앞장- 특허청-대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 정책협의회 및 수출기업 간담회 개최(2.5) – 특허청(청장 김완기)은 수출지원 전문기관인 대한무역투자진흥공사(사장 강경성, 이하 KOTRA)와 함께 2. 5.(수) 14시 KOTRA 본사(서울시 서초구)에서 우리기업의 지식재산 기반 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위한 정책협의회 및 기업 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협의회는 1월 수출이 일시적인 둔화세를 보인 가운데, 양 기관이 우리 수출기업의 지식재산 역량 강화를 지원하여 해외시장 진출 확대를 촉진하기 위해 마련되었다. 특허청과 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)는 이번 정책협의회에서 수출기업의 지식재산 경쟁력 제고를 위한 지원방안을 논의한다. 특허청 해외지식재산센터*와 대한무역투자진흥공사의 해외지사화사업**을 연계함으로써 수출기업의 해외 권리확보부터 현지 정착까지 통합(원스톱) 지원을 강화하기로 했다. * 해외 현지에서 지식재산 보호지원 서비스를 제공하기 위해 8개국 10개소에 설치·운영 ** 해외무역관에서 중소·중견기업의 현지 지사역할을 대행하여 수출 및 해외진출 지원 또한, 해외시장 진출을 희망하는 내수·수출초보 기업의 해외 지재권 분쟁위험을 사전 분석하고, 위험해소를 위한 전략 제공 등을 통한 수출 도전기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 협력하기로 했다. 한국지식재산보호원과 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 간 상시 연락체계를 구축하여 수출기업의 애로 해소를 위한 신속 상담을 제공할 예정이다. 기업 간담회에서는 수출기업들의 지식재산 관련 애로사항을 청취하고 현장의 목소리를 반영하여 함께 개선방안을 강구할 계획이다.- 2 –
강경성 KOTRA 사장은 "대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)는 범부처 세계적 비즈니스 플랫폼으로서 정부 부처의 해외진출 지원사업을 적극 지원 중"이라며 “대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 네트워크와 특허청 전문성을 결합한 종합적 수출 지원을 통해 기업 편의 확대에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다. 김완기 특허청장은 "이번 정책협의회를 통해 우리기업이 지식재산을 기반으로 세계시장에서 경쟁우위를 확보하고, 수출 확대로 이어질 수 있도록 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)도 더욱 긴밀히 협력하겠다"면서 “수출 여건이 어려운 가운데, 우리 경제의 버팀목인 수출 증가세가 다시 유지되도록 특허청도 기업과 원팀이 되어 뛰겠다”고 밝혔다.
