Patent Classification GT publishes 2023 activity report

Summary:

The International Patent Classification (IPC) Group of Classification presented its 2023 annual report, highlighting the execution of eight projects related to the IPC, including modifications and insertions of groups, as well as the translation and reclassification of national patent applications due to the update of IPC 2022. Other notable activities in 2023 included training at the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC), the hosting of the 9th meeting of semiconductor experts by the IPC, and the addition of a new member to the group, representing each of the General Patent Coordinations of the INPI.
