Brief

"On March 7, 2025, OSFI made adjustments to LICAT policy and initiatives. These changes include postponing the next revision of the Life Insurance Capital Adequacy Test (LICAT) Guideline from 2027 to a later date (post-2028), reducing capital requirements for domestic infrastructure debt and equity meeting certain criteria, and taking effect immediately for all federally regulated life insurers."
