On January 28, Human Rights details actions aimed at eradicating slave labor in the country

On January 28, Brazil celebrates National Day to Combat Slave Labor and National Auditor-Fiscal of Work. The Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC) and Ministry of Employment (MTE) held an event emphasizing the importance of public policies against slave labor. The MDHC's Coordinator-General for Erradication of Slave Labor, Paulo Funghi, highlighted the need to update the National Plan to Eradicate Slave Labor, last revised in 2008.
