New turnover thresholds for merger operations

Summary:

The Italian Authority for Competition and Market (Autoritu00e0 Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) has updated the notification thresholds for concentration operations, effective March 11, 2024. The new thresholds are: (1) u20ac567 million for the total turnover of all participating companies at the national level and (2) u20ac35 million for the total individual turnover of at least two participating companies at the national level. This change is based on the 5.3% increase in the producer price index (deflator) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2023.
