Brief

On December 3, 2025, the Australian Government Department of Education updated their requirements for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) provider approval. The update requires new applicants to supply a Statement of Tax Record (STR), and existing providers may also be asked to provide one. This STR demonstrates satisfactory engagement with the tax system and is required when applying to administer CCS.
