On January 31, 2025, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) issued an update regarding "New path opens for sporadic Alzheimer's treatment". Researchers from a Korean university successfully identified a molecular mechanism to control amyloid beta, a protein fragment linked to Alzheimer's disease, and presented a new therapeutic approach for sporadic Alzheimer's.
