New funding for regulators to cut red tape, like speeding up clinical trials through AI and trialling drones for medical emergencies

On Thursday 22 May, the Regulators’ Pioneer Fund opens to help bring innovations in critical sectors like healthcare and transport to market quicker. The fourth round, worth £5.5 million, builds on previous successes, including AI for clinical trials and drones for emergency medical deliveries, supporting delivery of our Plan for Change and speeding up access to new technologies that will deliver better services for the public.
