On January 24, new security equipment began operating at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, Brazil. The US government, through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), donated three full-body scanners, five dual-view X-ray machines, and six latest-generation Explosive Trace Detectors (ETDs) to modernize passenger and baggage inspection procedures, improving travel experience and aviation security standards.
