Researchers are examining the solar wind using the CODEX instrument, which will create a comprehensive data set to help scientists validate theories for what heats the solar wind. Additionally, an experiment called ARTEMOSS is studying how some plants better tolerate exposure to radiation and examining the physical and genetic response of biological systems to cosmic radiation and microgravity.
