Brief
Summary:
The Minister of Labor and Employment (MTE) has launched the Electronic Labor Inspection (DET) system, developed by the Serpro Federal Data Processing Service, with the aim of promoting standardization and efficiency in communications between auditors and employers. The DET system is mandatory for all employers, regardless of whether they have employees or not, and is aimed at providing a digital platform for the submission of documents and notifications required by the Labor Inspection authorities.
The system will include features such as the Electronic Inspection Book (e-LIT), which will allow employers to consult data on completed and ongoing inspections, generate certificates, and report irregularities in the FGTS and other services. The DET system also aims to reduce the costs and operational costs for employers, as well as provide transparency and security for the information transmitted.
Failure to comply with the DET system may result in a fine ranging from R$ 208.09 to R$ 2,080.91. Additional information on the DET system can be found in the manual: det.sit.trabalho.gov.br/manual, and support email: domicilio.sit@trabalho.gov.br.
