MTE carries out 1st National Operation to Combat Domestic Child Labor

The Brazilian Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) will present the results of the 1st National Operation to Combat Domestic Child Labor, which took place from August to October, on Friday (20th). The event, open to the public, will be held at the Ministry of Planning's auditorium and broadcast live on the ENIT's YouTube channel. The event aims to raise awareness about the illegal and harmful nature of domestic child labor, and will feature technical presentations and the disclosure of the Auditoria Fiscal do Trabalho's actions against child labor in 2023. Domestic child labor is work performed by children or teenagers, without remuneration, for a physical person or family within their residential setting.
