MMA launches institutional integrity program

Summary:

On November 11th, the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MMA) launched the Programa Ambiente u00ccntegro, an initiative aimed at reinforcing the ministry's commitment to ethics, respect, and transparency in its institutional activities. The program focuses on promoting a healthy and inclusive work environment, preventing corruption, and fostering transparency. The MMA also launched the Plano de Integridade for the 2025-2027 period, which sets 47 objectives divided into six axes: training and development, governance, promoting ethics, public transparency, monitoring, and communication. The program aims to prevent, detect, and correct corrupt practices, fraud, irregularities, and other anti-ethical behaviors that may affect the ministry's reputation. The MMA also created the Comitu00c3u00aa Permanente de Gestu00c3u00a3o da Integridade and the Rede de Integridade to promote integration between the ministry's units and coordinate efforts to strengthen actions.
