On Friday, November 11th, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA) issued a press release announcing a public call for R $ 150 million to restore indigenous lands. This initiative is part of the Restaura Amazônia program, which aims to recover 6 million hectares of forest until 2030. The funds will be allocated to support the restoration of native species and/or agroforestry systems in indigenous lands, with a focus on improving socio-economic conditions for families. The project will benefit states such as Acre, Amazonas, and Rondônia, among others.
