Brief
On January 29, 2025, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development launches the Labor Market Academy to enhance the future of global labor markets. The academy aims to develop skills for policymakers in global labor markets, addressing employment challenges and promoting sustainable economies through a specialized platform exchanging knowledge between countries, leveraging experiences from the World Bank and the International Labour Conference. The first batch of 37 participants from 27 countries and 25 ministries worldwide will undergo training, with an expansion plan targeting over 600 trainees in the next three years.
