Brief

On 03/02/2025, the Fair Work Commission issued an update regarding Minimum wage increases for aged care employees in the Nurses Award 2020. From March 1st, 2025, minimum wages and classification structures will change for enrolled nurses and registered nurses working in aged care, following a pay equity decision in December 2024. The updates aim to rectify historical undervaluation of direct care workers' work value, with further increases set for October and August 2025-26.
