On October 10th to 11th, Meng Yang, Vice Commissioner of the State Administration for Market Regulation, conducted a research tour in Qingdao, Shandong Province, to investigate the implementation of the Temporary Regulations on Network Unfair Competition. During the tour, Meng met with 10 platform enterprises and operators from various industries, and exchanged views on the implementation of the regulations. Meng emphasized the importance of strengthening anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition measures and improving platform economy's normal regulatory system, as stipulated by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He urged further implementation of the Temporary Regulations on Network Unfair Competition, and promotion of price monitoring and competition preservation actions to ensure fair competition, create an innovative environment, enhance market vitality and enterprise core competitiveness, and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights of all business entities and consumers. Officials from the State Administration for Market Regulation, Shandong Provincial Market Regulation Administration, and Qingdao Municipal Market Regulation Administration participated in the research tour.
