On 22/01/2025, the Financial Conduct Authority issued an update regarding London Community Credit Union enters administration. James Sleight and Stratford Hamilton of PKF Littlejohn Advisory Limited have been appointed as joint administrators, with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulating LCCU. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is stepping in to protect members' funds, returning money within 7 working days from when the Credit Union was declared in default.
