On November 2, 2023, the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) launched a new tool called "Proteção do CPF - Permissão para Participar de CNPJ" to enhance digital security and protect citizens' data. This free feature allows citizens to prevent their CPF from being incorrectly added to company registries, providing access to all types of juridical organizations, including MEI and Inova Simples.
