Brief

On 27.06.2024, the Competition Board launched an investigation into Abko İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi for violating Article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition. The investigation concluded with a settlement and commitments. Regarding the allegation of restricting internet sales, the Competition Board accepted Abko's final commitment text, allowing resale on all online channels to eliminate competitive problems. However, regarding fixing sale prices for resellers, the board imposed an administrative fine of 2,050,233.32 TL on Abko.
