On December 17, 2024, the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) implemented a digital protocol service. This update affects external users who can no longer send solicitations to inpi@inpi.gov.br and demanda-judi@inpi.gov.br emails. Instead, users must access Protocolo.Gov.BR and select "Protocolizar Documentos para o Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial" for correspondence protocol or "Protocolizar Documentos e Demandas do Poder Judiciário" for judicial protocols.
