On 25/08/2025, the Brazilian Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology issued an update regarding "Inmetro Superintendence in Rio Grande do Sul launches project to reduce fines and strengthen supervision". The project aims to reduce the index of administrative debt by recovering outstanding debts through active collection and structured organization. Initial results show a recovery of R$ 150 million, corresponding to 6.4% of the first semester's passivo.
