On "04/11/2024", several laboratories reported a lack of stock in vitamin B12 injectable and drinkable, affecting pharmacy availability. The shortage is due to production issues and will only be resolved by November 2024. Due to this issue, the use of injectable vitamin B12 should be reserved for patients requiring intramuscular treatment or undergoing certain chemotherapy procedures.
