On July 7, 2023, the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship issued an update regarding the implementation of the National Plan for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities advances with interministerial actions and strategies. The plan, known as Novo Viver sem Limite, has made significant progress in achieving its objectives, including the acquisition of accessible school buses, re-evaluation of funding for rehabilitation centers, and the establishment of 28 technology assistance laboratories.
