ICASA Amends the National And Provincial Party Elections Broadcasts And Political Advertisements Regulations, 2014

"On 26 February 2024, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) published an Amendment to the National and Provincial Party Elections Broadcasts and Political Advertisements Regulations, 2014. The amendments aim to provide a framework for broadcasting service licensees (BSL) and political parties/independent candidates during the election period, with changes including redesignation of party election broadcasts, reduced duration, and increased slots."
