On March 26, 2025, the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship issued an update regarding "Human Rights reinforces dialogue with ANAC on rights of people with disabilities in air transportation". The ministry met with the National Aviation Agency (ANAC) to discuss updating Resolution No. 280/2013, which establishes procedures for ensuring accessibility of passengers with special needs in air travel. The secretariat presented recommendations to improve the draft resolution and ensure alignment with the Brazilian Law on Inclusion of People with Disabilities (Law No. 13,146/2015).
