On 04/12/2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) issued an update regarding "Highlights from November BPC meeting". The Biocidal Products Committee (BPC) adopted six opinions on active substances and four on Union authorisations. Key decisions include approval of Epsilon-Metofluthrin for product-type 18 and support for biocidal product families containing Propan-1-ol/Propan-2-ol and Propan-2-ol, while not supporting approval of Epsilon-Metofluthrin for product-type 19.
