"On 18/11/2024, the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology issued an update regarding Guidance: Public Switched Telephone Network: non-voluntary migration checklist. This document outlines further steps telecoms companies should take to protect vulnerable customers ahead of undertaking a non-voluntary migration of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Communication providers are required to put additional safety measures in place to keep these customers safe throughout the migration process, especially when migrating without their consent."
