On 20/01/2025, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) issued an update regarding Government Committed to Building Transmission Network, Balancing Power Plant Development. The commitment was made by Minister Bahlil Lahadalia during a ceremony where President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a strategic power project at PLTA Jatigede, Sumedang, West Java, including the development of 11 transmission projects totaling 739.71 km and a 1,740 MVA substation.
