Google reported the scale of complaints about the content of terrorism based on artificial intelligence based on artificial intelligence to the Australian authorities

"On March 7, 2025, the Ministry of Trade reported that Google informed Australian authorities about approximately 250 global complaints regarding the use of artificial intelligence in creating deepfake terrorism content over a year. Alphabet's subsidiary also mentioned receiving dozens of user reports alleging that Gemini, an AI program, was used to create child exploitation material, in accordance with Australia's eSafety Commission standards."
