The agreement follows a routine compliance evaluation that found G4S Secure Solutions had discriminated against 1,459 Black applicants for security officer positions from 2016 to 2017, violating Executive Order 11246. As part of the agreement, Allied Universal will pay $411,000 in back wages to affected Black applicants, revise its hiring procedures, and extend job opportunities to 28 affected applicants.
