General aviation landings and takeoffs at Congonhas will have new rules

On May 2023, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) accepted Aena Brasil's request to transfer the coordination and allocation of general aviation slots at Congonhas Airport to the concessionaire. The change, set for October, will require the concessionary to establish rules and a transition plan with ANAC, and Decea must approve it. The Aena claims that they have more detailed information about the airport's operation, allowing them to assess situations better and maintain safety standards, performance, and services.
