Brief

"On January 25, 2024, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales initiated Step 1 of the Generic Design Assessment for the GE-Hitachi BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) design. The regulators have now completed this step and issued a joint statement of findings, which includes a report and a public summary, along with a Welsh version of the report on the Natural Resources Wales website."
