On "26/09/2024", the "Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF)" issued an update regarding "[G.S.R. 595(E] [26-09-2024] : Notification rescinding the current notification GSR 85(E) dated 21st Feb. 1991".

The Central Government hereby rescinds its Resolution made vide notification number GSR 85(E), dated the 21st February, 1991, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i). This move is applicable to things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
