Federal Revenue holds cannabis -based products on the International Friendship Bridge

"On last Tuesday (20), the Federal Revenue Service in Foz do Iguaçu found various cannabis-based products during a routine inspection on the International Friendship Bridge. The items, worth around 30 kg, included chá, ração de cachorro, óleo de canabidiol, and barras de proteína, all made from cannabis." The individuals, three Paraguayan men representing an Assunção company, claimed they were headed to a São Paulo fair with authorization. However, the Anvisa stated that these items are prohibited in Brazil and cannot be imported, even with authorization.
