"On 21/05/2025", the "Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal)", "Federal Police" and "Controladoria-Geral da União (CGU)" launched an operation called "Vox Veritatis" to combat potential frauds in bidding processes involving federal public resources destined for education. The investigation identified evidence of fraudulent practices by entrepreneurs colluding with state public servants, allowing the hiring of contractors at higher costs through adhesion to existing price records in other public bodies.
