Federal, provincial and territorial ministers most responsible for early learning and child care meet to drive progress on a draft workforce strategy and discuss the long-term sustainability of their Canada-wide system partnership

On November 28, 2024, the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Forum of Ministers Most Responsible for Early Learning and Child Care met to advance shared priorities. The meeting was co-chaired by Canada's Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Honourable Jenna Sudds, and Prince Edward Island's Minister of Education and Early Years, Honourable Rob Lantz, who acknowledged the importance of a thriving workforce in ensuring high-quality and inclusive early learning and child care.
