On March 21, 2025, Environment and Climate Change Canada issued an update regarding Federal industrial carbon pricing delivers 38 new innovative and clean technology projects across Canada. This investment of nearly $150 million from Canada's Output-Based Pricing System (OBPS) Proceeds Fund supports Canadian companies in deploying cutting-edge clean technologies that cut pollution, enhance energy efficiency, create jobs, and strengthen the country's economic footing, reducing an estimated 544,100 tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution by 2030.
