UDGAM Portal Summary

The UDGAM portal is an online platform developed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to facilitate the search for unclaimed deposits/accounts across multiple banks at one place. Currently, 30 banks are part of the portal, representing around 90% of unclaimed deposits in the Depositor Education and Awareness (DEA) Fund of RBI. To search for unclaimed deposits, users need to register on the portal and provide necessary information such as name, mobile number, and additional details such as PAN, driving license number, or date of birth. The portal does not allow users to settle or claim their unclaimed deposits directly; instead, it provides information on the claim/settlement process for each bank. The system assigns a unique Unclaimed Deposit Reference Number (UDRN) to each unclaimed account/deposit for secure settlement of claims.
