On October 11, 2022, a mechanic failed to properly inspect a main landing gear component for cracks as required by an Airworthiness Directive. Brazos Valley operated the aircraft on approximately 83 flights between Oct. 11, 2022, and March 17, 2023, despite it being not airworthy. The FAA alleges that the company operated the plane for over four months without proper maintenance, putting passengers at risk.
