On June 3, 2025, the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) issued an update regarding Expansion authorization of the electric power transport system in Santiago del Estero. The ENRE authorized the expansion of TRANSNOA's transportation system at the request of the Provincial Directorate of Energy of Santiago del Estero (DEPSE), which includes the installation of a new 132 kV transmission line.
